For many Empire State University students, a scholarship is what makes the difference between earning their degree and putting it on hold.

A contribution in support of student scholarships is one of the most powerful ways you can help our students. We are proud to have awarded more than $1M in scholarships last year. This would not have been possible without the generous support of our donors.

The sense of pride donors feel when they meet student recipients is a powerful reminder that their decision to establish a scholarship has indeed changed lives.

Scholarship Eligibility

Empire State Foundation scholarships are available thanks to the generosity of alumni, employees, foundations, and friends of the university who have chosen to recognize the importance of education by establishing scholarship funds.

How You Can Help

Alumni and friends who wish to have a direct impact on our students may choose to establish a scholarship. Creating a named endowed scholarship is also a wonderful way to continue the legacy of a loved one or honor family members.
