2nd Annual Earth Day Walk

Join us for a celebration of Earth Day with a guided walk through the Saratoga Spa State Park.

Date: Wednesday April 22, 2025

Location: Meet at SPAC parking lot on Rt. 50

Kim Marsella, associate director of the Center for International Education at Empire State University, will lead us on a walk and discuss the park's unique geologic features. The walk will last about an hour.

2026 Juneteenth Celebration

Date: Saturday, June 13, 2026
Time: Doors open at 11 a.m.
Location: 4 Park Ave., at SUNY Empire's Manhattan location (between 33rd & 34th Streets)

Join us for an uplifting celebration of Juneteenth, which commemorates the end of slavery in the U.S. The event features a keynote by Joseph Washington Ph.D., SUNY Empire emeritus professor of history, a musical performance by Regi Randsdell and the Rhythm Rebels, and food.

The celebration is sponsored by the Black Male Initiative, a student club at SUNY Empire.
